HI everyone! I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year, and thanks for reading this post, I know it has been a VERY long time since my last one!
I have been super busy over the holiday season, but so happy to have some new work to show you guys!!
Remember those Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse OOAK dolls I told you about in my last blog??? Well HERE THEY ARE (most of you have probably seen them by now through my Instagram or Twitter/Facebook account)!
I am so happy with how they turned out, and already have orders for new dolls…Some very cool punk rock ones at that ;)
Even more awesome is how much my client loved his new dolls (you can see his review here). I really do love it when my customers are happy with their new dolls, because it is like a part of my love and soul goes into making every one, and is always hard to let them go. When I sell them, it can be quite emotional, because I have invested so much of my time, and myself, into each new piece, and now it’s gone somewhere else, it’s not mine anymore. But then to see such lovely feedback and even photographs of the dolls and their new home, it makes everything I put into them even more special, and encourages me to do more. I am so grateful and blessed.
I even had the honour of making a doll for my friend, based on her beautiful little girl, Uisce. I love the Lolita style dress, might even make an adult sized version for myself!!
That’s all for now folks, wishing you again a wonderful start to the New Year! I suppose one of my resolutions should be to keep up with the blogging, I will try my best to do at least one a month!
All the best,
