Been a rather busy month, with doll planning and making, as well as researching companies to print labels for my dolls, after a huge mis-hap whilst making my own :/
I have also started a Facebook page for Nicolpops! You can find me here: www.facebook.com/nicolpops
If you are interested in seeing more of my development / processes and art work that I don't normally put on my website, then go ahead and give me a follow - I am also thinking of doing a giveaway/competition for when I reach my first 100 likes :)
Here is some work I have been up to since my last blog post:
I had such a blast making these goat dolls! It is something new to me, and it was interesting trying out ways of making the face, horns and feet, as well as picking up needle felting for some of the details!
My knitting machine was also a dream to use, after the deep cleaning/repairing of it I had done.
As always, feel free to contact me or leave in the comments if you have any questions regarding my work or would like to commission a stitch punk doll!
Various ponderings by me; Nicola Brand: creator of the Nicolpops stitch-punk doll. I dabble with illustration, but my main passion is for knitting, and using mixed media to create one of a kind critters.
