Hi guys, it's been a while since my last post, been super busy busy, but I am here now - yaaay! (>^_^)>
I had a much needed week off from work last week, so decided to take a trip to Glasgow to see my good friend, Kristen (who by the way has just started her own jewellery business, check out this super cute fox necklace she made me). She is working on a new website at the moment, but if you guys are in Glasgow, you can purchase her jewellery from Maia Gifts on Bath Street.
Speaking of Maia, check out the awesome bag I got from there!! There is a super cute matching purse for it too which you can find here. I highly reccomend this shop if you are looking for cute, unique gifts, and super friendly service!
Christ of Saintt John of the Cross - Salvador Dali 1951
So I had a wonderful time in Glasgow, visiting all the unusual shops that Aberdeen seriously lacks, as well as visiting the Kelvingrove Museum. I took so many photos of taxi-dermi, and some really cool life sized samuri costumes, which are so inspiring, and have definetly sparked up some inspiration for new character designs. I also saw a real Dali painting!!! Amazing!
I had such a great time in Glasgow, and was upsetting to say goodbye to my friend, I shall hopefully return soon, as living in Aberdeen gives you a desire to get out of here!
Since returning, I have spent some time turning my drawings into repeat prints, and I am totaly in love with the results!
Before I leave, I would like to introduce a new member of the Steam Doll family - Mr Squirrel, as requested from Hazel!
Thanks for reading my blog, feel free to share on twitter and facebook and leave any comments!
All the Best
