Gave nicolpops.com a bit of a makeover, how do you like it?
Took a lot of thought and planning, and many trial and errors of coming up with a logo that I was satisfied with, but I love the end result! Seeing as logo design isn't my strong point, I got the very talented MrKaim81 to help out, tidy it up, and make it look beautiful! Then I spent the whole of the weekend editing the whole site, re editing my illustrations, and dismissing those that quite didn't make the cut ;)
Been quite a busy month, with the website designing and I also made this sweet doll for a client!
Seeing as it is Halloween tomorrow, I have drawn some illustrations for you to get you in the spirit! I decided to make a cute scarecrow, a creepy Coraline, and a Halloween special Vivi from FFIX (I just had to you know, I love that guy! ;)
You can see these guys and more in my Character Illustrations page!
I am going to York next week, I. Can't. Wait.
Will probably get loads of inspiration from all the creepy old buildings and museums there, so expect loads of photos on my next blog post :)
That's all for now, let me know in the comments what you think of the new look of my website, and what your Halloween plans are! :)
Various ponderings by me; Nicola Brand: creator of the Nicolpops stitch-punk doll. I dabble with illustration, but my main passion is for knitting, and using mixed media to create one of a kind critters.
