Hey guys! Just a quick blog today, if you remember way back, I made a doll to be used as a prop for Progress the Series (or if you missed it, you can read the blog here), well you can now watch her in action on the spin off series: Ask A Cam Harlot! You can watch episode one for free here, where you will see my wee dolly chilling in the background ;)
Also, you can keep updated on Progress the Series through their Facebook page!
Here are a few photos of her behind the scenes, with the beautiful Rebecca Lynch as Lila DeClide, and a teaser video for the Ask A Cam Harlot series:
I really enjoyed making this doll, as I am fascinated by the steampunk aesthetic, so the idea for the doll just came naturally to me. I would love to do more prop work like this for other creative ventures, so feel free to contact me for any sort of collaboration work.
I have also discovered the work of Gris Grimly during my short break off work, and have just ordered myself a copy of his illustrated rendition of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein!
Check out his website: http://www.madcreator.com
That's all for now folks!
Various ponderings by me; Nicola Brand: creator of the Nicolpops stitch-punk doll. I dabble with illustration, but my main passion is for knitting, and using mixed media to create one of a kind critters.
